Parker is book two in David Michael’s Dick Dynasty trilogy. I highly suggest reading book one, Porter, first for maximum enjoyment.
David Michael has done an amazing job of telling the story of two people who are beautifully broken, thrown together by circumstances, that can make one another whole again . . . if they can beat the obstacles, including friends and family, standing in their way.
Parker Hale, prince of porn, seems to have it all, yet cannot seem to shake his addictive personality and all that goes along with it, including an overdose that sends him into a coma. While his family loves him, they do not understand him, nor know how to support him. Rebecca Sloan, the seemingly put together young actress looking to make a name for herself also comes from a past that haunts her that she cannot ever seem to escape. When thrown together by circumstances, Parker and Rebecca collide, recognizing that perhaps they can become better people by being what one another need. Unfortunately, they face many roadblocks, including themselves, their family and their best friends.
David Michael has woven an incredible story with characters you can easily identify with and that you become invested in. I had a hard time putting this book down as I enjoyed watching Parker grow as a person as his love story with Rebecca unfolded. I also enjoyed the dynamics within the Hale family . . . Mamma Hale is one tough cookie as matriarch of the Dick Dynasty. And, Rebecca’s best friend Mitch provides some well written comic relief . . . I cannot wait to see what David Michael has in store for him!
Parker gets five well deserved stars from me!

My name is Parker Hale and I single handedly brought down a Dynasty. For me, life has been a study in bad decisions and worse results. My party boy days landed me with one foot in the grave, but Rebecca Sloan pulled me back from that ledge. She’s here for me when I need her most and all I do is disappoint. I’m scared to lose what we have. I need to fix this mess before it’s too late. There are fates worse than death. I’m gonna prove it.
About the Author:
David Michael, author of The United Series, is a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, a hater of snow, a lover of Star Trek and has an addiction to coffee that is excessive even for an author.
He lives in Salt Lake City where he is currently majoring in Psychology, working a “big boy” job, and writing full time. He shares a living space with his best friend, idolizes his mother, and has a strange knack for making friends with people on the other side of the planet instead of his own back yard.
