Preston is book three in David Michael’s Dick Dynasty trilogy. I highly suggest reading books one and two first for maximum enjoyment.
Preston is the last man standing in the Dick Dynasty, as both of his brothers have opted out of the porn industry. And, in his own words, he is miserable, often using work and fantasy to escape real life. Mitch is the third in a trio of best friends . . . two of which are now happily involved with the Hale brothers. He is struggling with his fear of losing his best friends as well as his fear of commitment, as he has not had the best of luck with lasting relationships. When thrown together to help plan a wedding, they are unable to avoid the attraction between them.
In true Hale fashion, Preston can’t seem to grasp he is ready for a real relationship, and Mitch, already burned by past relationships, is ready to believe the worst to protect his heart. Will they be able to work through their own issues to see what type of future they can have passed a one night stand?
Once again, David Michael has created amazingly in depth characters. Their personal struggles are ones readers can identify with and become invested in the outcome. We also get to catch up with Porter and Holly as well as Parker and Becks. Preston’s relationship struggles with his brother Parker is also a fabulous journey of growth David Michael takes us on in this book.
While it is sad to see such a great series come to an end, Preston has the series ending on a high. Fabulous characters, romance, personal growth, comedic dialogue, hot and steamy sex and a few plot surprises have me giving Preston five stars and a hope that we get to catch up with the Hale brothers down the road.

Los Angeles—The City of Angels—No star is out of reach and no dream is too big. It’s the only place in the world where you can build a Dynasty with nothing but your dick and good looks.
Preston is all that remains of the legacy built on the thrusting hips of his father. His older brothers had been Princes of Porn with the world at their feet—Until they fell in love and out of the industry.
Mitch has resigned to the idea of being single forever. He can bang who he wants, when he wants, and never has to fight over who makes breakfast the next morning. The life of a bachelor suits him just fine.
When the wedding of the century threatens their ways of life, Preston is forced to find a new balance while Mitch struggles to accept the lies he’s been telling himself.
Will they make it to “I do?” Or will the demands of their bodies destroy the last of the Dick Dynasty?
