Mia is a successful strong, sexy, independent woman. She knows what she wants and she goes after it. What she doesn’t want is a relationship. She enjoys playing the field and having fun.
Gabriel has recently returned to the states after spending the prior three years in Paris. He enjoys women, but they don’t hold his interest for long . . . especially since he has very specific sexual needs and wants.
When introduced, sparks immediately fly between Mia and Gabriel, but will their instant chemistry be enough to forge a true relationship. Gabriel needs total control, and Mia is not submissive. While she is willing to play at all, she refuses to give up her control to Gabriel. Gabriel claims to love the wild and defiant streak Mia displays . . .but what happens if he breaks her?
This book was a hot and steamy look into a Dominant / Submissive style relationship between two people who were trying to meet in the middle and bend enough to meet their partner’s needs. The author did a great job creating very in depth characters. Gabriel is all alpha and dominant as can be, yet also shows a caring and loving side that seems almost unexpected at times. Mia is independent, intelligent and sassy. While both become somewhat obsessed with the other, they also start losing essential parts of their personalities. Watching them both struggle with meeting their own needs as well as their partners was intense.
I really enjoyed this book and the characters and hope the author chooses to turn this book into a series. 4.5 stars
About the Book:
He’s a dom, she’s not even a little submissive. It shouldn’t work, but they can’t walk away from each other.
Boundaries will be crossed, trust shattered, secrets revealed. Both need to give up control. Both need to find middle ground.
When it’s easier to walk away, there’s only thing strong enough to bind them together.
About the Author:
One day, many months ago, Jennifer Domenico went to sleep and a beautiful love story played out in her dreams.
When she awoke, she felt compelled to write it down. So she did. The result was her first novel, Turn Towards the Sun and a writing career was born.
Ms. Domenico lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her very Italian husband, a dog that adores her, two cats that tolerate her, and a wicked sweet tooth.
