Ryder Hart is a rock god that clawed his way to the top from an abusive childhood. His circle of friends is small, pretty much consisting only of his band mates. But, he is a fierce protector of those he holds dear. He also bears some serious emotional wounds from his past that he just can’t seem to let go.
Quinn is a photographer that had come from a supportive and well -off family, until she decided to pursue her dream, rather than her fathers. Since then, she has scrimped and saved and is making her own way. When the chance comes to photograph Ryder’s band for two weeks while they finish their tour, it’s an opportunity she can’t pass up.
Notorious for being publicity shy, the band decides to allow Quinn the chance to photograph them. The attraction between Quinn and Ryder is immediate, but Quinn refuses to pursue anything while she is on assignment . . . however, once her photo essay is submitted to Rolling Stone Magazine, all bets are off.
What follows is an amazing journey between two people who have more in common than they realized and fit together like puzzle pieces . . . however, will it be enough to become a relationship or is it strictly a two week fling once the tour has concluded.
I absolutely adored Flowers on the Wall. While it can be considered a rock star romance, it is so much more than that. Both Quinn and Ryder have extreme depth as characters. Ryder’s back story is heart breaking, and watching Quinn gain his trust enough for him to let down his walls for the first time in his life is breathtaking. Quinn’s inner strength was amazing. She knew what was in her heart, but is willing to walk away because it wasn’t what Ryder needed at the time. Their journey is rocky and far from easy, but that makes it easy to feel connected to the characters’ hearts and souls.
I enjoyed learning a bit about Zoe, Dalton and Ashe as well and was thrilled to discover there is a book for each of the band mates. If you enjoy a rock star romance, you’ll fall in love with Ryder and Quinn. 4.5 stars!

WHAT IS MUSIC WITHOUT SOME HART?
Healer of Souls
Ryder Hart came up the hard way. From his childhood, to scratching his way to
the top of the charts. Every moment was a struggle. Now that he’s made it,
nothing is taking him down. Not even a secret so dark it invades his dreams and
haunts his waking hours.
Quinn Abernathy’s hunger for success is no less than Ryder’s. If she wants to
succeed in the highly competitive world of photography, she can’t let anything, or
anyone, get in her way. Until Ryder. He makes her long for more than she ever
Music is Ryder’s life. There isn’t room for a woman like Quinn Abernathy.
A woman who asks for nothing but wants it all.
About the Author:
It Has Always Been My Dream To Write A Book
And I always knew it would be a romance novel. When I was a teenager I assumed I my book would have a historical setting, those were the kinds of stories I liked best, I even grew my hair long so I could be like the heroines in my favorite stories. But now I see myself and my books in the present dealing with the joys and sorrows of our modern world. Harper Falls is a place my imagination dreamed up, but it is based in reality. I grew up in Washington State and went to school in a small town on the Columbia River. Harper Falls is that town but an idealized version. I hope you enjoy reading about the town and the characters.
And as much as I enjoyed telling their stories., these books are not the end of my dream but the beginning.
