Used to being in charge as both a rancher and the Fire Chief for their small town, Sawyer knows he wants Kelsey from the first time he lays eyes on her. But she is as prickly as a cactus and turns him down . . . hard.
Kelsey has been burned more than once. Her mother is a people user always reliant on a man. Her ex was a cheater with a hidden family. And, her roommate left her high and dry with literally nothing but the clothes on her back. She isn’t good at reading people and has major trust issues. She also feels very strongly about needing to stand on her own to dig herself out if the ditch of problems she has found herself in.
Sawyer seems too good to be true, and Kelsey doesn’t trust easily, so, can they get to their HEA?
Teach Me the Ropes was an Insta-romance but that is what Vanessa Vale is so darn good at writing! This book had some unexpected twists which were a lot of fun. With fun and sexy banter, some super hot scenes – grab your fan, and some tender moments, Teach Me the Ropes was a great introduction to the Manning brothers! 4 stars.
