~Book Review~ “Mine to Cherish” by Natasha Madison

My Review:

After what she thinks may be the start of a new relationship, Clarabella hears the words no woman wants to hear from the man she was in bed with.  And, when Luke disappears to New York, she is left to move on.

When Luke returns to town 6 months later, he’s shocked to find Clarabella engaged.  He knew from the moment those words left his mouth six months ago, he had made a huge mistake, and now he’ll have to live without her forever.

But, when a surprise revelation has the bride looking for an escape, Luke is her only option for a quick getaway . . .

I adored everything about Mine to Cherish.  Clarabella is one sassy woman!  I loved how she says exactly what she is feeling even if it gets her into a bit of trouble at times since she wears her emotions on her sleeve.  The banter between her and Luke is phenomenal, only to be eclipsed by the crazy conversations she has with her sisters, which had me laughing out loud.  And, Luke . . . it felt like fate intervening to give him one more chance to make things right between him and Clarabella and he took full advantage of it, including turning on his alpha when needed to protect his woman’s reputation.

Mine to Cherish was a whole lot of fun to read.  Laugh out loud funny.  Swoon-worthy romance.  And, a friendship that went back years that finally had a chance to become more.  5 stars!!!

Things are supposed to go smoothly on your wedding day.
Aren’t they?

Clarabella
Did I want to get married today?
It’s hard to say when he proposed in front of over a hundred people.
Everything happened so fast, and I thought it was just nerves.
It was not.
The knock on the door showed me that what I was feeling was more than just cold feet.
I was a runaway bride.

Luke
The whole town was busy attending her wedding.
She was the one I let get away when I told her our night together was a mistake and then left town.
So I planned to spend the weekend getting drunk.
When she ran out of the church looking for a hideout, I opened the car door for her.
My cabin has one bed, and my longing looks don’t mix well.
Somehow, I have to keep my heart intact and her reputation together.

Maybe she was just mine to cherish.
