What are you currently reading?

My current read is an arc of Vanessa Vale’s Hold Me Close – Bridgewater County Book 4.  As the series motto is two cowboys are always better than one, I thought I would give a new to me author and series a try.  I grabbed book one last week when it was on sale for 99cents and fell in love.  I have been breezing my way through the series.  My review will be posted on release day!

What did you recently finish reading?

I love how much reading time I am sneaking in this summer!  I can only hope to find this kind of time in the fall . . . 

“Sapphire” Bratva Jewels #1 by J.A. Low – This book was was intense, amazing, full of suspense, ridiculously steamy and just toe curling good!  f you enjoy a menage, this book is not to be missed. Heck, even if you enjoy a great romantic suspense one-click now. It’s a great mix of super sexy romance and dark suspense that is woven together masterfully by the author.  5 stars!

“THICK” (Biker MC Romance Book 6) by Scott Hildreth – When Scott Hildreth said his FFMC series was going out with a bang, he wasn’t kidding! While I am always a bit sad to read the last book in a series that I have enjoyed, Scott really did an amazing job of giving readers everything they could have asked for and more in the series closer, THICK.  5 stars for THICK!  Just make sure you have bottle of wine, a box of tissues and a pint of ice cream nearby as you read this epic conclusion to the FFMC series!

Purity (Hilltops Book 2) – This was an arc I finished at the end of last week and have not had a chance to write my review yet.  The second book in the Hilltops story focuses on Derek and Emily’s story.  It is a much sweeter story than book one although still packs some heat as Hilltops is an adult fantasy club. Much of this plot actually takes place at the Dorian’s publishing house.  This was a 4 star read for me.

So, I started binge reading Vanessa Vale’s Bridgewater County series this weekend.  Ride Me Dirty is only 99cents and was a much better read than expected.  Yes, these are all menage books, but they have a great plot with them as well.  Each story has been unique to itself and they are not reading like carbon copies of one another.  Amazon links are below.

Next up for me . . . and arc of RC Boldt’s Blue Balls.  The teasers for this book have been laugh out loud funny and I am really  looking forward to it!  I love a good rom-com!

I am struggling with my beta read . . . not because of content, but because of format.  It was kindle direct, but in PDF . . . the text is tiny and giving me grief.  I have not found a good or easy way to enlarge it on my paperwhite for easy reading, so if you have any ideas on that, please share them!  I will be forever grateful!

Our family vacation starts Sunday, so I also need some great vacation reads!  Drop your suggestions in the comments below!  We stay with family in Florida, so while my daughter swims her days away, I should have lots of reading time.
